Arriving in Miami in April 2024, I immediately focused on finding a residence that provided inspiring views and ample headspace to think, evolve, and find inspiration, as well as a good office space to work. After four weeks of searching, I found the perfect place in the right part of Miami, offering good security at an affordable rental price.

Miami is full of rental properties, many of which are overpriced. However, if you stick to your budget and view enough properties quickly, you'll develop a sense of what you're looking for and eventually find the right home.

I ended up choosing a property in North Shore Miami — a two-bedroom apartment with an exceptional view of Biscayne Bay. It's close enough to walk to the beach and a small village of shops, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Brickell and South Beach.

We moved into the apartment on the 1st of May 2024, and I strongly advise opting for a fully furnished place if you can find one with decent furniture. I found a Brazilian owner with Italian style, my last rental in London was a penthouse that could have cost over $50,000 to furnish, luckily this was not my first rodeo and I know how to hustle on furnishing in London

Here in Miami, everything was taken care of from espresso machine to drinks trolley, and we became operational quickly.

It's June 30th 2024 today, and I've been on catch up since I signed the lease agreement so let's see if we can get this project moving. We need to finish the architecture of this site, add all my life belongings to the store and add the new business projects as we have much to do and the days move fast...
